Latest Updates from Our Project:

$80,000 Unlocked, $90,000 Revealed, and the History of Bullet Dice
over 5 years ago – Sat, Dec 15, 2018 at 09:51:56 PM

When we launched this campaign, we never thought that the PDF counter skin stretch goals would be anything more than a fun craft project for many of you. Creating and releasing PDFs is considerably less expensive than manufacturing sheets of die-cut counters, and yet here we are, thanks to your support, creating two more counter sheets to pack inside Ogre Battlefields.

With that $80,000 stretch goal down, that only leaves another two of the PDF counters to translate into ready to punch 'n play sheets . . . and we just know that you're gonna shatter that next stretch goal! It looks like it is time that our team executes Steve's $100,000 stretch goal idea so that we're ready when the $90,000 goal is obliterated.

Bullet Dice

If you're interested in the new six-sided Bullet Dice (offered as an add-on to this project; see the campaign description for more information), then you'll want to check out this BGG blog post where we share the early concept images and give a brief look at the history of the project.

We're unsure of if/when there will be a second run of the dice (that will all depend on how the dice sell once they're released in stores), so now is your best chance to add these new dice to your collection. We'll pull necessary stock to cover the Ogre Battlefields rewards before we decide how many sets remain for sale.

Any Requests?

With $80,000 behind us, $90,000 ahead of us, and less than two weeks to go until the project closes, now is a perfect time to ask: What else do you want us to create and release to support your Ogre games? We don't have the resources to act on all of your requests, but we can consider each idea and, in 2019 and later, expand on each that looks like one with the potential to succeed.

If there's something you've always wanted for Ogre (pre-painted plastic Ogre minis, a global strategic game, an Ogre gamebook adventure, a deck of cards for solitaire Ogre play, something else?), then please let us know!

Thanks!

Playmat Battlefields
over 5 years ago – Wed, Dec 12, 2018 at 11:00:03 PM

In yesterday's update, we shared one way in which you could combine Ogre Playmat M1, M3, M4, and M5 into a single 48-inch square battlefield. Today, we're happy to share two possible combinations that create different 48-inch by 24-inch combat zones where you can blast opponents and destroy your friends.

Combined Playmats, M1 Errata, and 10XBullet Dice Add-On
over 5 years ago – Tue, Dec 11, 2018 at 07:08:45 PM

With the reveal of Ogre Playmat M4, we can now show you an example of a giant layout that you could create if you combined M1, M3, M4, and M5 into one 48-inch by 48-inch map. As you can see, that's a lot of area for conflict!

Ogre Playmat M1 Errata

When we were reviewing the playmats, we noticed an error on the southern edge of the M1 playmat that, unfortunately, is a part of all of the previously-printed M1 playmats. Two hexes on the southern side of the map do not properly align with the northern edge of the design. We are correcting this in the M1 playmats that will be printed as a part of this Kickstarter project. We're sorry for the mistake and we will take steps to improve our checking process for future Ogre playmats.

NOTE: The combined image (above) uses the correct M1 design.

Need More Bullet Dice?

For those of you who are interested in the new Bullet Dice design, we've opened up a new add-on option: Ten packs of dice for $80! That's 60 Bullet Dice, giving you all of the six-sided dice you should ever need (but, we admit, not all of the dice that you will ever want).

Adding add-ons and a chance at more counters.
over 5 years ago – Mon, Dec 10, 2018 at 10:19:27 PM

First up, this is for those of you who have been asking: "How do I include add-ons in my rewards?"

$80,000 Stretch Goal

With the $70,000 stretch goal close to falling, it is time that we reveal the next project stretch goal: $80,000 and two more counter sheets! If we unlock this stretch goal, Steve and Drew will select two more of the PDF skin counter sheets, and we will manufacture them as ready-to-play sheets that are included inside the Ogre Battlefields box.

Talking Ogre!

This week, it's time we get out there and tell the world about Ogre. Visit your favorite blogs and forums and let everyone know about your latest session. Please be sure to share links to your posts and comments here, that way others may join you in discussing Ogre at your favorite websites.

Thanks!
