International Update and a Dice Preorder Store

An important update for our international supporters.
When reviewing the data provided by the fulfillment warehouse, we identified errors that had to be corrected. After the experiences of the last quarter, we decided that the best course of action was to have all of the international packages shipped to Austin so that our team could review each one.
For the last few days, the Warehouse 23 staff have been opening boxes. In some instances, they've had to repack those shipments into boxes of a more reasonable size, and other times they've had to add missing items to the boxes. We also found that over a dozen reward boxes were never completed, which we're happy to have found now before everything was shipped to other nations.
At the moment, all we can do is ask for your patience as we deal with these problems. We have taken steps to eliminate the errors that made Battlefields fulfillment so terrible, including working with a new fulfillment company that is based in Austin.
We will report when we have better information on the international shipments.
We're trying something new and would appreciate your assistance with testing the newness. We've worked with BackerKit to create a dice preorder store where we're offering several new dice designs. The preorders are scheduled to ship in December and then, in January, we will open the dice for sale on Warehouse 23.
This test is limited to those in the United States; we want to be sure this works before we add in the complexities of international shipping.

International Shipping Update

Hey folks,
Some good news. This week the teams working on the remaining international orders report that they are finished packing and have placed all the items on a number of pallets for shipment. Now that we have everything packed we move into the administration portion of logistics. I'll be navigating the international shipping to move the items to their necessary destinations early next week.

Saturday Evening Texts Bring Updates, Pocket Box Preorders Closing Soon

Last night, I received a text from the fulfillment warehouse notifying me that they continue to pack and ship rewards. The warehouse reports that not many of the remaining shipments were affected by the missing glow-in-the-dark dice -- this is very good news -- and that they will send us a new batch of tracking numbers soon.
As for the international rewards, there is no change. Once packages are ready for our fulfillment partners in Australia, Canada, and the U.K., we will post an update.
Pocket Box Preorders
If you missed out on the Pocket Box campaign earlier this year, you'll be happy to know that the factory work continues. We have almost approved all of the tooling samples, which means that the long road of scanning and remastering the eighties originals is almost complete. The project is behind schedule by a couple of months, but we prefer to do this right than to rush.
What was the Pocket Box project? We are creating near-exact replicas of many 1980s Steve Jackson Games titles . . . over 30 in total! If you've always wanted to replace your plastic Pocket Box editions of Ogre, GEV, and Battlesuit, this is your chance! (Not to mention Car Wars, Undead, Necromancer, Illuminati, and several other titles.)
Latest Fulfillment Update

The fulfillment warehouse has identified that they are missing an item -- glow-in-the-dark dice -- so some shipments are again on hold as we have to ship those dice to them. Darryll is arranging the dice shipment on Monday. Just as soon as those dice reach the warehouse, they'll return to packing and shipping boxes.
For those of you in the U.S. who have not yet received your rewards, we will send tracking numbers just as soon as we get them from the fulfillment warehouse.
International shipments will follow as quickly as we can manage. International Kickstarter fulfillment is an expensive, complicated process involving multiple organizations and a lot of paperwork, and Darryll will work with our fulfillment partners as quickly as possible to get the packages prepared and shipped. Once shipped, the rewards will go to our partners in Canada, the U.K., and Australia where they'll be dropped into local services for the final delivery. We do not have a delivery estimate at this time; we need to push paperwork through the systems before we know more. (We know from experience that customs offices are sometimes more challenging to navigate than expected.)
Ogre Miniatures Set 3 Update
For those who have asked, we will be opening limited preorders on BackerKit. The CAD files are complete and the factory is now starting on the molds. We expect to see the test shots in October/November. In 2020, once all supporters and BackerKit preorders have been handled, the new minis will be available on Warehouse 23.

Shipping Update - 8/14/19

I just received some great news. First, we were just provided all of the tracking numbers for packages that have been shipped. I plugged those in and sent out the notifications a little bit ago. Most of you will already have your package, but this helped us identify that we had 134 backers in the US who needed their games. So, to those that haven't received your games, we know exactly who you are, and what you need!
On to the more exciting news. Our fulfillment partner was able to locate the games we sent to them originally! With such a massive warehouse, there is the chance that a pallet gets put somewhere it shouldn't have been, as was the case here. They also informed us that they will work to get the remaining orders for the US out as early as possible, and we are crossing our fingers to wrap up before Friday, and move on to International fulfillment.
