Shipping Update - 8/13/19

Hey folks!

I wanted to take a moment to reach out to all of our backers, focusing on those who have yet to receive their pledge items for Ogre Battlefields. We were recently informed that some titles necessary to complete the fulfillment for domestic shipments is not on hand with our fulfillment partner. We're working with them to get the complete list of items, and will be sending those items so that fulfillment can continue. 

I'm reminded as I look through the comments that so many of you are very excited to receive the game. After a long GenCon, seeing the excitement and positivity is encouraging. However, we do acknowledge that we hit a few bumps, but we are hoping to wrap up domestic shipping soon and then move over to getting international out. We thank everyone for their patience and understanding, and we will get you your Ogre Battlefields ASAP!

Shipping Update

Most of the team is now back home after a very successful Gen Con. We won't even go into my own travels home except to say: Omaha and Minneapolis are very nice cities, yes, but I'll be happy to reach Austin later today.

 Battlefields Shipping Update

Thank you to everyone who has let us know that your rewards have arrived, especially those of you who stopped at our Gen Con booth. While at Gen Con, Darryll, Lisa, and I met with reps from the fulfillment warehouse and we can report that they continue to pack orders just as fast as possible. 

Darryll will start the paperwork for international fulfillment over the next week; please be patient as this is not a fast process.

As always, please email [email protected] if you need support. The team will work with you as quickly as possible, and we will do what we can to replace any damaged components. If contacting us about a damaged item, please include photos in your email so that we can get a closer look at the situation.

What's Next for Ogre?

Plastic minis, of course! My next step after this update is to reach out to our factory rep and take action to move the latest miniatures from the CAD stage into tooling. For word of Ogre projects beyond that one, keep an eye on our Facebook and Twitter accounts!

Rewards Arriving!

Thanks for the messages and posts, gang, as the Ogre Battlefields rewards have started to reach your hands. Seeing the pics online as you open your boxes always makes the team here happy, and we appreciate you taking the time to notify as us you open your packages.

What's next?

More packing and shipping! We have many more packages to prepare and mail, and the international rewards will enter the queue within the next week or so once everyone has recovered from Gen Con. Today, Darryll and I are meeting with the fulfillment warehouse team to discuss how we can improve future projects, so we're hoping to have very good news long before we start work on fulfilling our next Ogre crowdfunding campaign.

752 Packages Shipped!

The fulfillment warehouse contacted us late yesterday afternoon with an update: 752 packages have now shipped and are on the way. Some of you may start to see your rewards as early as tomorrow, though it is likely another week or so before many of the U.S. rewards reach your hands. This goes down as another failure to meet the estimated delivery date, and we are sorry for being late. This failure falls on me, personally, because I neglected to be more proactive and demanding at a few stages in the campaign.

Everyone (from the office team to the factory to the warehouse) did their best and worked quickly without sacrificing the quality of the final expansion. 

The complexities of manufacturing and shipping games continue to throw snags and obstacles that we have to overcome. We keep working at improving our processes when it comes to crowdfunding, and every campaign teaches us new things that we apply to later projects.

We, and especially I, hope that you'll forgive us and trust us when we say that we are learning.

Shipping Update

Hello from 35,000 feet! On the way to Gen Con and I’ve just received word (WiFi on planes = great!) that the fulfillment company has sent out over 500 packages so far and they’re still working on mailing everything as quickly as possible.

They’re focusing on U.S. rewards at the moment. International packages will require more time and coordination; the hoops necessary to clear when getting international shipments into the proper channels in our other partner warehouses is always a challenge.

More news as we receive updates from the warehouse.
