Latest Updates from Our Project:

Project Update, Pocket Box Preorders, and Decks of Destiny
16 days ago – Sat, May 11, 2019 at 12:47:25 AM

Great news! This afternoon, we finalized the shipping schedule for the Battlefields project: The container leaves the factory in one week and then starts the journey to our fulfillment warehouse in Michigan. We expect to receive the container the first week of July, which means that we should start shipping rewards the second or third week of July. As long as there are no delays, we'll see U.S. rewards starting to reach you in July and international rewards reaching backers in late August and into September.

Our experience with international fulfillment continues to improve and, with that experience, we refine our estimates with each new campaign. The process isn't perfect; it is getting better.

Need classic Ogre titles?

The Pocket Box project we ran on Kickstarter earlier this year led to the creation of reproductions of several Ogre titles and, to make things easier on everyone, we've bundled those Ogre games and supplements into a single $85 package that you can preorder today. If you've wanted classic-sized counters and maps, this is the best chance you're likely to see for the next many, many years. And the project isn't just Ogre; visit the preorder page today and check out all of the eighties games and expansions!

The Fantasy Trip: Decks of Destiny

Speaking of Steve's earlier designs, we shipped The Fantasy Trip Legacy Edition to stores last month and have received a lot of great comments from players who have opened the hefty, overloaded box. (Over eight pounds of game!) Some players want more, though, and that is exactly what we're bringing to the game with the Decks of Destiny project, now funding on Kickstarter.

Over a dozen unlocked stretch goals have added more cards, megahex sheets, and other accessories to the campaign, and we still have over three weeks to go before the project closes; plenty of time to jam even more into the box! Check out the project today, and help us make the box even heavier!

Great news! The production samples have arrived and are approved, moving us another step closer to completing the project. At the moment, Battlefields is scheduled to go on the boat in about three weeks.

For those of you looking at all of these pics (thank you, Sabrina!) and saying: "I should have chosen an extra copy," we have added the Battlefields box to our current preorder page for the Pocket Box games. There are a limited number of copies of Battlefields being offered as a part of the preorder; find the preorder page here.

Lots of stuff, right?
Lots of stuff, right?

Also included in the Pocket Box preorders: Ogre Miniatures, Second Edition. We have been asked about when the book will be reprinted; no reprint required! We still have some stock available and you can preorder it as part of the Pocket Box campaign or on Warehouse 23. Your choice!

And included on offer in the Pocket Box preorders: The classic eighties Steve Jackson Games Ogre titles! If you're looking to replace those plastic boxed games, this is your best chance to get a deal . . . and to get a complete set at once!

When will Battlefields start shipping to project backers? If all continues on the current schedule, the fulfillment warehouse will receive the boxes in late June or early July and we will start mailing rewards as soon as we can.

Thank you for your support of the Battlefields project and the Ogre game. Please let us know if you have any questions and we'll do our best to answer. And get ready for more Ogre, because Steve and Drew are still working on more ideas and we've got other projects to bring to Kickstarter in the future.

New Ogre Playmats Now On Warehouse 23!
about 2 months ago – Sun, Apr 07, 2019 at 12:56:12 AM

Today is the first day of FnordCon, and we're happy to report that we have two new Ogre playmats for sale at the convention . . . and on Warehouse 23! The first printing of each playmat is limited, and we've no idea how long the supply will last, but we plan to reprint if we find a high enough demand for these playmats.

Manufacturing Update and the Return of a Classic Game Accessory
about 2 months ago – Tue, Apr 02, 2019 at 01:33:13 AM

Great news! The revisions needed after the review of the tooling sample are complete, the shipping carton has been approved, and the Ogre Battlefields expansion is now officially in the printing stage. The factory will print all of the components, then assemble the boxes, and then ship the game to our fulfillment warehouse in Michigan. At the moment, the project is on schedule! We'll be back later with a more refined shipping estimate once we've approved the final production copies of the game.

A Classic Game Accessory Returns!

We've managed to bring back several classic games thanks to your support on Kickstarter, and now we're pleased to report that our latest project -- Bag of Bags -- is at over 5,000% of its goal and set to close successfully later today. If you're looking for a storage solution for your Ogre counters, don't miss out on this Kickstarter campaign!

Tooling Sample Pics!
3 months ago – Tue, Mar 12, 2019 at 12:53:53 AM

Sabrina is now checking the tooling sample, but I managed to sneak in and grab some photos before she even ripped the shrinkwrap from the box. If it all looks good and passes Sabrina's checks, we'll officially move Battlefields into the manufacturing stage later this month; with luck, we'll be able to deliver your rewards slightly ahead of the original estimate.
