Double maps in the box and a new stretch goal!

And that's the $55,000 stretch goal behind us! We will now split the double-sided gameboard into a second gameboard, packing two single-sided boards in the box. This opens up new options when you're constructing a landscape, and this upgrade means that Steve and Drew and all of the Ogrezine authors have even more to work with when they create new scenarios for the game.

$70,000 Stretch Goal

As Steve mentioned, you're blasting through the stretch goals faster than we expected and it has left us exploring new stretch ideas. We're resisting any large, complicated stretch goals that could lead to delays and destroy the budget, but that doesn't mean that we haven't been listening.

If we surpass $70,000 during this Kickstarter project, we will take two of the already-unlocked PDF skins and produce them as ready-to-play counters sheets packed inside every Ogre Battlefields box. Steve and Drew have an idea for which counters they want to pack into the box; we'll post our final decision in the future if this new stretch goal is unlocked.

Thanks, everyone! We made our goal in just a few hours and are now moving toward the first stretch goal. Considering that most of the U.S. hasn’t even made it home from work yet, we’re doing all right . . . The top stretch goal on this one is only twice what we have already achieved, and there’s some good stuff on the way.

Today’s interesting news is: we decided that five years was long enough to save our leftover copies of ODE in case replacements were needed. So there are a FEW copies – I don’t know exactly how many, but fewer than 20 – available now in Warehouse 23. We will ship them to a few lucky fans, and then we will rejoice in some long-unseen floor space in the warehouse. If you didn’t get the Designer’s Edition first time around, this is your chance, unless you are reading this a week after I wrote it, in which case, probably not.

$50,000 Stretch Goal Unlocked and Ogre Playmat M5 Add-On Revealed

You've broken through another stretch goal and put us closer to that $55,000 stretch goal and a second gameboard packed inside the box!!! With another three PDF skins unlocked, those of you who are fans of DIY will have plenty of unit options once the PDFs are posted online (we'll let all of you know when the PDF stretch goals are available).

Ogre Playmat M5

To help break the next stretch goal, we're happy to announce that Ogre Playmat M5 is now available as an add-on item. This new playmat connects to Playmat M1 and M3, expanding your options and giving you a new battlefield to fight over. 

This playmat is not included in any reward level; to add the Ogre Playmat M5 accessory to your rewards, please increase your pledge by $30. You'll make your exact add-on selections in the BackerKit survey that we plan to launch in January.

Now let's get out there and share the project with all of our friends! We're so close to that second gameboard that I'm sure each one of you is already dreaming of the giant game sessions you'll be running in 2019 when the Ogre Battlefields expansion lands on your gaming table.

Four Down, More To Go

The box just got heavier! Overnight, you added an overlay sheet and a card set to the Battlefields package. So we're firmly into the better stretch goals, and we can see on the horizon the really exciting ones. Four stretchies in the first 24 hours, and those hours are not over yet. Momentum will carry us! Keep spreading the word,. That Fencer is on its way to you, bearing goodies!

Add-On: Bullet Dice

If you've not yet taken a close look at all of the add-on options for this campaign, you likely are unaware of our upcoming Bullet Dice six-sided dice set. This pack of six custom dice -- double-injection molded in two plastic colors -- is set to ship to stores next year, and is available to you now as a $10 add-on for the set of six dice. 

We've been sitting on the tooling for these dice for a few years now. (Back in 2015, we almost ran a crowdfunding campaign to create these, but we didn't have the time to do it right so we shelved the project.) It's a real treat for those of us who worked on the concept to see the finished dice finally scheduled for release.

And since these are six-siders, we thought that some of you might want a set or two when you're playing Ogre. The dice are not a part of any reward level; to grab a set, please increase your pledge by $10 and then, in BackerKit, you'll make your selection and tell us you want these new dice.

NOTE: Unlike some of the other limited add-ons, our supply of Bullet Dice can handle more than 100 backers, so please don't worry too much about whether or not these will be available in BackerKit. We should have plenty . . . unless each of you tries to order six sets. That would be a problem (but one we could happily resolve).
